Our first event that we have participated. We traveled at Tel Av-iv in Israel to participate in the biggest event for start-up companies. Our co-founders presented our company and its services. We spent 3 days at the event, where we found companies that were interested in our idea of creating devices for people with disabilities. With some of them we exchanged our contact details and after the event we discussed how we can cooperate and make peopel with disabilites more independent. But the event was not just that. Companies from arround the world came to the event to present their "Path to Success". Companies like Amazon, VMWare,  Google for Startups, Deloitte, ASUS and more. We have attended all those events so we can be taught from the best. We came back to Cyprus full of ideas and with the question "What is our next step?" in our minds.

High Tech Developed in Cyprus. An event created for companies that they are developing new technologies in Cyprus. At the event people who are interested in new technologies paid us a visit and asked us about our services. Moreover, there was a part at the event which there was an open conversation with other companies and people interested in new technologies and ideas. Our company was in the consultation part, where we consulted people with new ideas on how to developed them in the aspect of the technology. People from different ages were interested on how the device will help people with visual impairment. We let them test it and while they were navigating through the event more people got interested on our device. We also had a video showing exactly how the device works for people who were afraid to use the device. It was an educated event for our company too, because we found some companies that we can have a partnership with them in the future.

Λίγο πριν τα Χριστούγεννα πήραμε μία πρόσκληση για να συμμετέχουμε και να παρουσιάσουμε τις υπηρεσίες μας στην Χριστουγεννιάτικη εκδήλωση της ΠΟΤ. Στην εκδήλωση ήταν προσκεκλημένοι και γιατροί που ειδικεύονται στους τρόπους εγχείρησης του συνόλου των ματιών για επίλυση προβλημάτων που έχουν να κάνουν με τα προβλήματα όρασης. Είχαμε μία ανοικτού τύπου συζήτηση με το κοινό στην εκδήλωση και ειδικά είχαμε απορίες από τους γιατρούς που ήταν εκεί οι οποίοι είχαν την περιέργεια για το πώς δουλεύει η συσκευή και μας έδωσαν συγχαρητήρια για την Θέμις. Όπως πάντα οι άνθρωποι με προβλήματα όρασης ήθελαν να δοκιμάσουν την συσκευή για να δουν πως δουλεύει. Μας έδωσαν πίσω την γνώμη τους και σημειώσαμε ξανά τη πρέπει να γίνει για να δημιουργήσουμε μία συσκευή φιλική προς τον χρήστη.

AbleBook, μία εταιρεία που κατασκευάζει μία πλατφόρμα για να διευκολύνει άτομα με αναπηρίες, μας προσκάλεσαν στην εκδήλωση τους για τα πρώτα τους γενέθλια. Στην εκδήλωση τους ήρθαν αρκετοί για να τους συγχαρούν για την δουλειά τους και συνεισφορά τους στον τομέα των ΑμεΑ. Είμαστε περισσότερο από ευχαριστημένοι που είμασταν καλεσμένοι σε μία τέτοια εκδήλωση. Το κοινό ήταν πολύ ευχαριστημένο που είδε ακόμη μία εταιρεία που ασχολείται με την κοινότητα ΑμεΑ και ποιο συγκεκριμένα που κατασκευάζει και συσκευές για αυτά τα άτομα. Και φυσικά η εκδήλωση της AbleBook σήμανε μια νέα και μακροπρόθεσμη συνεργασία μεταξύ ForPeople TM και AbleBook σε ένα κοινό σκοπό να βοηθήσουν άτομα με αναπηρίες. 

We were invited to a dinner to demonstrate our device in front of people with visual impairment on the 2nd of February 2020. After a lot of presentations in front of businessmen and businesswomen we think this one was the hardest. Because until that day we were trying to persuade people without vision issues that we are developing something that can actually help people with vision issues. In front of an audience of 60 and more people with visual impairment we are not trying to convince them that we have something that will make them 100% independent. The best part came when people from different ages wanted to try our devices. Marios was doing the adjustments for each user on spot showing them how easy it is to adjust our BETA testing Version 3 device to each users needs. Thanasis was doing the sound check ups and the user was ready for a test "drive". The curiosity of the people at the dinner was getting even higher. After the test all the people who used it gave us their feedback and people who were watching also gave us their feedback on what they need.And what we got in return was not only some good feeback.We shared the same happiness of a device that helps them!
