Amateur Futsal Game

Our company has co – sponsored an amateur futsal tournament alongside with Cyprus Football Federation. The game was hosted by the Community of Philia. 

The event was created in memorial of Stavrou Solwmou Christou who lost the fight to Leukemia. 

We had participants from all different ages who competed for the prize and of course to support the people who are fighting with Leukemia. 

Our company at the event has presented our services and our device for people with visual impairment. We answered a lot of questions and people who were there as players and as spectators shown their interest in our company. It was a really great experience having people speaking their mind out and giving as new ideas and of course a push to keep moving forward.

Presentations with the customers

Our company has hosted two events in Nicosia and Larnaca. In Nicosia the event took place at IDEA CY premises. In Larnaca the event took place at Maria Liperi Institute. At the event we had as a guest Andrea and Lambro from AbleBook who had discussed about how their services will help people with disabilities.

In our events, the people who have attended had visual impairment. Some of them could see shadows, some of them only light and some of them couldn’t see form one eye. We had a presentation explaining them why have created our company and what is the purpose of Themis and how it can help them. They were fascinated from the idea of having a device that will enable them a handsfree experience and that they will be able to navigate through obstacles without worrying for small objects or obstacles. 

After the presentation we had an open conversation with our potential customers in which we heard about their point of view. And at the end who is a better judge than the user itself? 

After our conversation we encouraged them to use the device in an open space where we set up some obstacles. We explained them how the beeping systems works and we let them have a run of our device. After the test we had another conversation to get even more feedback. We told them about our BETA testing and they were positive of being BETA testers in the months that will follow.
